Hi, I love your blog. How much dose a #10 can of cheese make when recostituted?

Pearl,
We got your question and we're checking into it. From what I've learned reconstituion adds about 1/4 back to the item, you can that as a figure. So 1/2 cup cheese will give you 3/4 cup of reconstituted cheese. So each can has 22, 1/2 cup servings so you'll get 22, 3/4 cups or, 16.5 cups of reconstituted cheese. That's my best guess but we'll give you the official SR answer as soon as we find out! :)

Pearl,
Shelf Reliance is working out all the chemistry and math on each food they offer. Right now the best answer they can give us is that reconstitution adds from 1/4 - 1/3 back to the food - so I was right! Hope this helps :)
