Freeze Dried Bow Tie Chicken Salad
2 cups FD chicken dices (Thrive brand is prefered)
1/4 cup FD chopped onions
1/3 cup FD diced celery
3 cups water
2 cups Barilla Piccolini Bowtie Noodles (Farfalle)
1 cup halved grapes
1/4 tsp dijon mustard
1 cup of Kraft Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper and salt to finish
Begin by boiling water for the bowtie pasta and follow cooking directions. Strain and chill.
Add 3 cups water to another pot and add FD chicken, FD onions, FD celery, and 1/2 tsp salt.
Bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, cover it and turn off heat. Allow to reconstitute for 10 minutes. Drain over a colander and chill in the refrigerator.
Once noodles and chicken mixture are cooled, add mayo, mustard, salt and pepper, and halved grapes.
