Quake shakes East Coast, causes evacuations

5.8 Quake

It started in a small town in Virginia but in a rocky area and so the quake traveled quickly.
Caused damage from Virginia to New Jersey, some 80 miles distance.
A quake in the East Coast is very, very rare. The last reported earthquakes matching this one were in 1944 and then 2 others in the 1880's.
The East is still expecting some after shocks.
